Angez - Blankey

Each of us had a certain object that made us feel safe when we were at a junior age. It kept a sense of familiarity within our hearts towards the stranger world.

Yours may be a pillow, pacifier or stuff-toy, even maybe a milk bottle.

Yet...
Mine was a terribly worn-out light pink blanket with frayed edges. It was my one and only true love,.... but one day I woke up to find myself sleeping with a new mate. It broke my little fragile heart but soon I learn: in life, we can never keep everything. Memories may be just memories, but the mind bank is where all things are safe from decomposition and corruption.


And that is junior to me. Jr. Angez clutching on to her lovely blanket, ...not wanting at all to let go.

AvenueOfStars - Typography

Ever since I read typography books, I'm intrigue by the mystery behind typography and its powerful connection with design. Your design may be great but if paired with an unsuitable font, consumers may not get the full impact of work.

Above is my interpretation of Junior.

The light blue junior symbolises child and fun. The italic lends a more playful meaning to the word Junior. This is an approach that Playhouse Disney incorporates. The Sr. stands for Senior and its being Times New Roman-ized to create that powerfully silent character. It's a few shades darker than the light blue, to enhance the overall crude yet empowered title.

Neo V7 - Kohai

Kohai:
Junior. The sempai-kohai (senior-junior) relationship permeates all social strata in Japan. Japanese are always conscious of whether people they meet are above or below them in social status.


As a "Sempai" in Aikido, it is my personal responsibility to POUND the essence of the martial art into the bones of all my "Kohai". They learn faster that way. LULZ!

(It does not hurt for the rest of you to at least write some kind of description to your posts. Even random sentences would do as long as it prevents your posts from being all dull and boring. Geeez.)
